Valley of the Shadow

Valley of the Shadow Oil on Canvas 22" x 28" Dead Indian Pass, Shoshone National Forest, Wyoming This vista is so vast I decided to constrain my composition to include only White Mountain, Windy Mountain and the Sunlight Basin. The pass is located on Chief Joseph Scenic Byway and crosses the Absaroka Range. Dead Indian Creek runs at the base of the pass. Near the pass are also Dead Indian Gulch, Dead Indian Mountain, and Dead Indian Mesa.
